Jay Dowling - President & Owner

Jay is a 30 year veteran of the  global system integration, telecommunications and high-technology industry.  He has extensive executive level experience & training in direct sales, sales management, alliances and channels, sales engineering, marketing, sales operations and business  development.  Most recently Jay was with a Global Top 10 System Integrator as Head of America's Sales for Cloud and Infrastructure Services at DXC Technology.  Prior to that role he served with French based Capgemini, where he managed the global alliance relationship for top-tier infrastructure technology partners, as well as being the North American Sales leader for the Cloud Infrastructure Services business line.  Earlier in his career Jay has managed large multi-state sales regions with sales, pre-sales engineering & service teams handling over  $725 Million in revenue responsibility for Tier-1 telecommunications  providers such as MCI & Verizon.  

Jay  has direct sales and executive management experience with global outsourcing, data center transformation, managed services to include service desk, end-user services, cyber security, digital workplace, cloud native development & considerable experience with market leading OEM's with multi-cloud partners and the market leading cloud hyper scalers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure & Google Cloud Platform (GCP).  Additional industry experience includes enterprise voice, data, mobility, machine-to-machine (M2M) and data center services as well as  next-generation platforms such as cloud and virtual service offerings.   

The Dunlaing Consulting company was formed to offer consultative and business advisory services to clients, venture capitalists, private equity firms, the industry analyst community and independent research firms, as well as charitable volunteer work for clients and  friends.  Jay leads the firm, and enrolls various colleagues, industry advisors and  channel partners to fulfill project requirements and placements.
